King’s College Doha is the sister school to King's UK, which was founded by Royal Charter in 1873. Students at King’s College Doha benefit from this 140+ years of history, tradition and educational expertise.
All-round British curriculum
King’s College Doha delivers a truly all-round education, based on an enhanced version of the English National Curriculum, inspired by King’s UK. Academic progress is made alongside the development of new skills and interests through sport, music, the arts and an extensive range of activities.
Subject specialist approach
While general class teachers cover all subjects up to Year 6 in most schools, uniquely at King’s College Doha, all subjects are led by specialist teachers from Year 5 onwards, allowing optimum depth of learning. We also feature specialist teaching in core subjects from Pre-Prep (age 3).
Qatar culture and Arabic language
The King’s approach is tailored to fit with our local Doha setting. Arabic language, Islamic Studies and Social Studies are central components of our curriculum. Arabic language, for instance, is offered from Pre-Prep and delivered by subject specialist teachers.

As pupils launched their new topic on animals the children arrived dressed as their favourite creatures ready for a day of discovery.
The day was filled with engaging activities designed to spark curiosity and inspire learning for the term ahead. A fantastic start to the topic with brilliant costumes from our Year 1 pupils and teachers ✨

An outstanding achievement to celebrate 🎓✨
We are incredibly proud to announce that 17 pupils have qualified for the 2025 Pearson High Achievers Awards, in addition to the 2025 Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards.
This remarkable success is a true testament to the pursuit of excellence shown by our pupils, supported every step of the way by the dedication and expertise of our teachers. A moment of pride for all involved and a powerful reflection of the high standards we strive for at King’s.

What a way to round off Term 1 💪🏆
An outstanding week of sport saw our pupils competing across U8 to U19, in four different sports, representing both boys’ and girls’ teams with pride, determination and ambition 🏐🏀⚽️🏃♂️
From QUESS basketball and netball to football leagues, national finals and cross-country, our pupils delivered performances to be proud of. Highlights included podium finishes across multiple age groups, national medals, league wins and our best-ever QUESS and QPPSSA Cross-Country result 🥉
A special mention to our U11 Boys Football National Champions 🏆, U16 Girls Netball Gold Medalists 🥇 and the many teams who battled through competitive tournaments to bring home bronze and plate titles. To have 4 out of 5 possible National Football medals is an incredible achievement from our pupils 💪
Well done to every pupil, coach and supporter who made this week such a success. A powerful showcase of confidence, commitment and sporting excellence at King’s 👏

House spirit at it’s best 🔵🔴🟡🟢
Our House Obstacle Course Day brought pupils and staff together through teamwork, encouragement and plenty of support from the sidelines. From determined races to lots of laughter the highlight had to be the staff race with everyone cheering each other on every step of the way.
A true celebration of House pride and togetherness and we cannot wait for more House events in 2026

As Term 1 draws to a close we reflect on a wonderful final few weeks filled with Winter Concerts, Rock and Roll Star performances, a show-stopping production, inspiring Landing Days, welcoming parents into school and celebrating Qatar National Day 🇶🇦✨
These moments have been a true display of warmth, creativity and celebration and we are incredibly proud to share them with our community.
